1 head iceberg lettuce
1 can water chestnuts, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
3 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp hoisin sauce
2 green onions, sliced
2 tbsp vegetable oil
Step 1: Remove chicken from bone and chop into small pieces.
Step 2: Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Step 3: Add chicken and cook until no longer pink, about 8 minutes.
Step 4: Add garlic and ginger, cook 1 minute.
Step 5: Stir in water chestnuts, soy sauce, and hoisin sauce. Cook 3 minutes.
Step 6: Separate lettuce leaves and wash well.
Step 7: Spoon chicken mixture into lettuce cups and top with green onions.
Step 8: Serve immediately with extra soy sauce on the side.
