Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich

Crispy fried chicken breast on a toasted bun with tangy slaw creates a satisfying lunch with bold Southern flavors.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz Dietz & Watson Southern Fried Chicken Breast (On Sale: $8.99 lb)

  • 4 Ball Park Hamburger Rolls (On Sale: $3.49)

  • 2 cups shredded cabbage

  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise

  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

  • Pickle slices for serving

Directions

Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F. Place chicken breast slices on a baking sheet and heat 15-18 minutes until warmed through.

Step 2: Meanwhile, mix cabbage with mayonnaise and vinegar to make a quick slaw. Season with salt and pepper.

Step 3: Toast hamburger buns lightly.

Step 4: Place chicken on bottom buns, top with slaw and pickles, then add top buns.

Step 5: Serve immediately while chicken is hot and crispy.

Chef's Tip: Toast the buns in the oven during the last 2 minutes of cooking for extra texture.
