Quick and flavorful stir-fry featuring tender beef strips and meaty mushrooms in savory sauce.
1.5 lb Beef Eye Round Roast, thinly sliced (On Sale: $6.99 lb)
10 oz Bowl & Basket Baby Bella Mushrooms, sliced (On Sale: 2/$5)
3 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp cornstarch
2 tbsp vegetable oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
2 green onions, sliced
Step 1: Slice beef thinly against the grain. Toss with cornstarch and 1 tbsp soy sauce.
Step 2: Heat 1 tbsp oil in wok or large skillet over high heat. Add beef and stir-fry 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
Step 3: Add remaining oil to pan. Stir-fry mushrooms 3-4 minutes until golden.
Step 4: Add garlic and ginger, cook 30 seconds until fragrant.
Step 5: Return beef to pan. Add remaining soy sauce, oyster sauce, and 2 tbsp water.
Step 6: Stir-fry 2 minutes until sauce thickens and coats beef and mushrooms.
Step 7: Garnish with green onions and serve over rice.
Chef's Tip: Slice beef against the grain for tenderness. Have all ingredients prepped before starting to cook.
