Succulent shrimp sautéed in garlic butter sauce with a hint of lemon creates an elegant yet easy seafood dinner.
2 lb Bowl & Basket Raw EZ Peel Shrimp (On Sale: $14.99)
4 tbsp Bowl & Basket Butter (On Sale: 2/$7)
6 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup white wine
Juice of 1 lemon
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Red pepper flakes to taste
Step 1: Peel and devein shrimp, pat dry with paper towels. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 2: Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Step 3: Add shrimp to skillet and cook 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
Step 4: Pour in white wine and lemon juice, scraping up any browned bits from the pan. Simmer for 2 minutes.
Step 5: Toss with fresh parsley and red pepper flakes. Serve immediately.
Chef's Tip: Don't overcook the shrimp - they're done when they turn pink and curl into a C-shape. Overcooked shrimp become rubbery.
