An unexpected, indulgent fall dessert that transforms glazed donuts and crisp Honeycrisp apples into a rich, custardy bread pudding — a fun twist to celebrate the season and National Coffee Day.
1 package (24 oz) Maple Donuts Jumbo Glazed Donuts, torn into chunks (On Sale: $4.99)
1 lb Honeycrisp Apples, diced (about 2 apples) (On Sale: $1.99 lb)
2 cups Dairy Pure Half & Half (On Sale: $5.99)
3 eggs
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup sugar
Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a baking dish.
Step 2: Place torn donut chunks and diced apples in the baking dish.
Step 3: Whisk together half & half, eggs, cinnamon and sugar, then pour over the donuts and apples.
Step 4: Let sit 10 minutes to soak, pressing down gently so donuts absorb the custard.
Step 5: Bake 35-40 minutes until set and golden on top. Serve warm.
