4 Bone-In Pork Tomahawk Steaks (On Sale: $5.99 lb)
3 Honeycrisp Apples, sliced (On Sale: $1.99 lb)
1 Sweet Onion, sliced (On Sale: $2.99)
1 cup Apple Cider (On Sale: $3.49)
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp dried sage
Salt and pepper to taste
Step 1: Season pork tomahawk steaks with sage, salt and pepper.
Step 2: Sear steaks in olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet, 3-4 minutes per side, then remove.
Step 3: In the same skillet, sauté apples and onion until softened, then pour in apple cider and scrape up browned bits.
Step 4: Return pork to the skillet, cover, and finish cooking over low heat (or in a 375°F oven) about 15 minutes until cooked through. Rest 5 minutes before serving topped with the apples and onions.
