1 loaf Maier's Premium Italian Bread (On Sale: BOGO)
1 cup Kraft Shredded Cheese (On Sale: $1.99)
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1 egg
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
Step 1: Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 2: In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
Step 3: Form mixture into 12 meatballs and place on prepared baking sheet. Bake 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
Step 4: Meanwhile, heat pasta sauce in a large skillet over medium heat.
Step 5: Add cooked meatballs to sauce and simmer 5 minutes.
Step 6: Slice Italian bread into 4 sub-sized portions and toast lightly.
Step 7: Fill each bread portion with meatballs and sauce, top with shredded cheese. Serve hot.
