Old Bay Shrimp Boil

Plump shrimp, sweet corn, and red potatoes boiled together with zesty Old Bay and finished in garlic butter. A festive, hands-on feast for a summer holiday gathering.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Bowl & Basket Raw EZ Peel Shrimp (On Sale: $14.99)

  • 6 ears Sweet Corn (On Sale: 12/$3)

  • 2 lbs Bowl & Basket Red Potatoes (On Sale: $4.99)

  • 4 tbsp Bowl & Basket Butter (On Sale: $2.99)

  • 6 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 lemons, halved

  • 3 tbsp Old Bay seasoning

  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Directions

Step 1: Fill a large stockpot with water and add the Old Bay seasoning and lemon halves, then bring to a boil.

Step 2: Cut the potatoes into quarters and add to the boiling water, cooking for 10 minutes.

Step 3: Cut the corn into thirds and add to the pot, cooking 5 more minutes.

Step 4: Add the shrimp and cook 3 to 4 minutes until pink and opaque.

Step 5: While the seafood cooks, melt the butter in a small saucepan and saute the garlic for 1 to 2 minutes.

Step 6: Drain the boil and spread it out on a large platter or paper-lined table.

Step 7: Drizzle the garlic butter over everything and garnish with parsley.

Step 8: Serve right away with extra lemon wedges.

Chef's Tip: Add the shrimp last and pull them the moment they turn pink and opaque so they stay tender. Pour everything onto a paper-lined table and let everyone dig in.
