2 tbsp olive oil
2 tsp salt
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
Step 1: Preheat the grill for two-zone cooking with one side hot and one side cool.
Step 2: Pat the chicken dry and toss with the olive oil, salt, garlic powder, and paprika.
Step 3: Grill the chicken over the cooler side, covered, turning occasionally, for about 25 minutes.
Step 4: Move the chicken over direct heat and brush generously with barbecue sauce.
Step 5: Grill, turning and saucing, until the chicken is glazed and reaches 175 degrees, about 8 minutes.
Step 6: Grill the corn alongside until lightly charred.
Step 7: Let the chicken rest a few minutes, then serve with extra sauce.
Chef's Tip: Grill the chicken over indirect heat first so it cooks through without burning, then move it over the flame and brush on the barbecue sauce in the last few minutes. Sauce too early and the sugars will scorch.
