Quick weeknight dinner featuring tender shrimp tossed with pasta in a rich garlic butter sauce.
2 lbs Bowl & Basket Raw EZ Peel Shrimp (On Sale: $14.99)
1 lb Ronzoni Pasta (On Sale: $0.99)
4 tbsp Bowl & Basket Butter (On Sale: $2.99)
6 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup white wine or chicken broth
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
Red pepper flakes to taste
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp olive oil
Step 1: Cook pasta according to package directions; drain, reserving 1 cup pasta water.
Step 2: Peel and devein shrimp; pat dry and season with salt and pepper.
Step 3: Heat olive oil and 2 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Step 4: Add shrimp and cook 2-3 minutes per side until pink; remove and set aside.
Step 5: Add remaining butter and garlic to skillet; cook 1 minute until fragrant.
Step 6: Add wine and simmer 2 minutes. Return shrimp to pan.
Step 7: Toss with cooked pasta, adding pasta water as needed for sauce consistency.
Step 8: Garnish with parsley and red pepper flakes.
Chef's Tip: Don't overcook the shrimp - they're done when pink and just opaque. Reserve pasta water to thin the sauce if needed.
