Homemade chicken nuggets that are crispy on the outside and tender inside. Kids and adults love them!
1.5 lbs Bowl & Basket Chicken Breasts (On Sale: $2.99 lb)
20 oz French's Yellow Mustard (On Sale: $1.49)
2 cups breadcrumbs
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 cup honey
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
Step 1: Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spray with cooking spray.
Step 2: Cut chicken breasts into 1-inch nugget-sized pieces. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 3: In a shallow bowl, mix breadcrumbs with garlic powder and paprika.
Step 4: Dip chicken pieces in beaten egg, then coat in breadcrumb mixture.
Step 5: Place nuggets on prepared baking sheet. Bake for 18-20 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and cooked through.
Step 6: Meanwhile, mix mustard and honey in a small bowl for dipping sauce.
Step 7: Serve nuggets hot with honey mustard sauce.
Chef's Tip: For extra crispy nuggets, spray with cooking spray before baking. Double-dip in egg and breadcrumbs for thicker coating.
