So many people wonder why they aren't able to lose or maintain their weight. A big part of this is that we have a skewed idea of what a portion size is. It's not hard to overindulge. A one ounce serving of nuts includes 12 almonds, 24 pistachios or 7 walnut halves. A one ounce serving of peanut butter is one tablespoon. Excessive portions mean excessive calories, which could hurt in your effort to lose or maintain weight.
