Fruit is an essential part of our daily diet, but do you know when to eat it? Fruit is best eaten on an empty stomach and is ready to digest by going straight through the stomach and into the intestines. When fruit mixes with other stomach contents, it can cause gas and bloating. Best practice is to eat fruit as your snack!
