Beef and Veggie Stir-Fry

Quick and colorful stir-fry with ground beef and vegetables in savory sauce. Ready faster than takeout.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb 80% Lean Fresh Ground Beef (On Sale: $4.99 lb)

  • 2 packages Minute Rice Ready to Serve (On Sale: 2/$4)

  • 3 cups mixed vegetables

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Directions

Step 1: Prepare rice according to package directions and keep warm.

Step 2: Brown ground beef in large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain excess fat.

Step 3: Add mixed vegetables and garlic, cook 5 minutes until vegetables are crisp-tender.

Step 4: Mix soy sauce and brown sugar. Pour over beef and vegetables, stir to coat.

Step 5: Serve over rice immediately.

Chef's Tip: Have all ingredients prepped before you start cooking for smooth stir-frying.
