Light and refreshing layered dessert with angel food cake, fresh berries, and whipped cream for a perfect summer treat.
1 Angel Food Cake, cut into cubes (On Sale: $2.99)
2 pints Blueberries (On Sale: 2/$5)
1 container Bowl & Basket Whipped Topping, thawed (On Sale: 2/$7)
1 cup sliced strawberries
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
Step 1: Toss blueberries and strawberries with sugar and let sit for 10 minutes to release juices.
Step 2: Fold vanilla extract into whipped topping.
Step 3: In a trifle dish or large glass bowl, layer half the cake cubes.
Step 4: Top with half the berries and their juices, then half the whipped topping.
Step 5: Repeat layers with remaining cake, berries, and whipped topping.
Step 6: Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving. Garnish with fresh berries.
