Mummy Stuffed Mushrooms

Feta-stuffed baby bella mushrooms wrapped in strips of string cheese to look like little mummies — a fun, festive Halloween appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg Baby Bella Mushrooms, stems removed (On Sale: 2/$5)

  • 1/2 container President Crumbled Feta Cheese (On Sale: $5.99)

  • 4 Galbani String Cheese sticks, sliced into thin strips (On Sale: BOGO FREE)

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 clove garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • 2 tbsp breadcrumbs

  • sliced black olives, for eyes

Directions

Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F and lightly oil a baking sheet.

Step 2: Mix feta, garlic, breadcrumbs, and Italian seasoning; spoon into mushroom caps.

Step 3: Wrap thin strips of string cheese across each mushroom to look like mummy wrappings.

Step 4: Bake 12-15 minutes until cheese is melted and mushrooms are tender.

Step 5: Add two small olive slices to each for eyes and serve warm.

Chef's Tip: Pat mushrooms dry after washing so the filling sticks and they don't turn watery in the oven.
