3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar

2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Step 1: Melt the butter in a light-colored saucepan over medium heat, swirling often.
Step 2: Continue cooking until the butter foams, turns golden brown, and smells nutty, then pour it into a bowl and let it cool slightly.
