Weeknight Tex-Mex Frank & Bean Skillet

A quick, kid-friendly skillet of sliced franks and baked beans spiced up with taco seasoning for a fun budget dinner twist.

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg (12 oz) Bar-S Meat or Chicken Franks, sliced (On Sale: 4/$5)

  • 1 can (28 oz) Bush's Baked Beans (On Sale: 2/$5)

  • 1 packet Old El Paso Taco Seasoning Mix (On Sale: $0.99)

  • 1/2 onion, diced

  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese, optional

Directions

Step 1: Saute onion and sliced franks in a skillet until lightly browned.

Step 2: Stir in baked beans and taco seasoning; simmer 10 minutes.

Step 3: Top with cheese if desired and let melt before serving.

Chef's Tip: Top with shredded cheese and let it melt in the skillet for extra comfort-food flavor.

Save by using Franks, baked beans, and taco seasoning are all sale-priced, making this dinner cost only a few dollars a serving. and Serve with Cornbread or tortilla chips.
